Dave has spent the last 30 years helping leaders
focus on their future and their strengths. His career has
included time as a leader, manager, consultant, change agent,
educator and mentor. Leading some of the largest outsourcing
programs in the corporate real estate industry has allowed him a
unique exposure to leadership and change management as well as
the inner workings of corporate America. Clients have included
institutional, corporate, municipal and private entities, such
as Austin Energy, Microsoft, PMC-Sierra, Pitney Bowes,
California Federal Savings, Pacific Gas & Electric, United
States GSA, Comerica Bank and Southern California Edison.
Dave’s experience also includes both service on Boards and
consulting to various Boards, including both not-for-profit
institutions (local and national) and for profit companies. He
is a past Chairman of BOMA International, the world’s largest
office building professional association.
Dave speaks frequently at regional and national events on
finance, market trends, leadership, and sustainability issues.
He has been a founder of two organizations, iNPOINT Advisors and
the non-profit Center for Corporate Sustainability. Prior to
founding these organizations Dave was an Alliance Director for
CB Richard Ellis (fka) Trammell Crow Co., Global Services.
His insight comes from 30 plus years of experience in real
estate, consulting, and training. As a consultant, he focuses on
leadership development and organizational structure. Hewett has
worked in all aspects of the real estate and facilities
industry. He’s managed operating and capital budgets in excess
of $100 million annually and responsible for building
operations, construction, corporate real estate, brokerage,
development, and strategic planning services.

Pacific Gas & Electric: Led the CB Richard Ellis team
providing for creation of the strategic planning process and
organization within the corporate real estate department of
PG&E, Northern California’s primary utility. Dave had
responsibility for a portfolio of over 7 million square feet of
office and industrial space and an annual budget (capital and
operating) exceeding $100 million.
Bank of America: A lead manager for a $250 million
re-branding effort covering over 19,000 sites including
high-rise buildings, branch banks and ATM locations. Led the
first phase of the project, which covered 500+ real estate
sites, 1,500+ ATM sites with completion in less than 90 days.
Comerica Bank: Had responsibility for an international
portfolio of over 5.5 million square feet of office space, staff
of 70 employees, and $100 million annual budget. Dave led all
aspects of Comerica’s portfolio, including strategic planning,
transactions, facilities and project management.
BOMA International: Chairman and Chief Elected Officer of
this 20,000 member trade association. BOMA is the largest and
oldest association representing the building industry. He also
served a total of 6 years on the Executive committee leading
efforts to grow industry best practices.

25 times at various meetings and seminars throughout North
America. These included Seminars, Keynote presentations, and
various speeches on behalf of the Building Owners and Managers
Association International as it Chairman and Chief elected
Dave regularly leads seminars and retreats on Leadership
development and strategic planning for various Boards and
schools throughout the country. Additionally Dave lectures and
teaches Real Estate courses for various groups. He is a
certified national course instructor for the Building Owners &
Managers Institute International (BOMI).
Hewett resides in the Portland suburb of Hillsboro, Oregon and
holds a BS in Business, Emphasis: Organization Development from
the University of Colorado.
